NBA Skills Challenge Competitors Revealed

The participants for the Skill Challenge at All-Star Saturday 2014 has been set, headlined by two All-Stars and a slew of rising stars.

Headlining the Skills Challenge competitors is reigning champion Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, and fellow first-time All-Star DeMar DeRozan (Raptors).

Representing two of the Western Conference’s most exciting teams will be Goran Dragić (Suns) and Reggie Jackson (Thunder).

While rookie trio Trey Burke (Jazz), Michael Carter-Williams (76ers), Victor Oladipo (Magic) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks) lead the charge for the league’s up and coming stars.

The Skills Challenge tests players ball handling, speed, passing and shooting over a timed obstacle course.

Burke, Carter-Williams and Antetokounmpo will also feature in the Rising Stars Challenge, and DeRozan in the All-Star Game.

But no one is taking as busy schedule as Lillard, who will compete in five events over the weekend, the most in NBA history.
